DHD develops and maintains residential properties from high-end apartments in mixed-use developments and luxury houses for private sale, to affordable and mixed tenure housing, and student accommodation.
We have over 25 years of experience in the residential sector, with access to the expertise and resources that brings. We find sites, develop concepts and secure funding, before planning, building and maintaining properties for open-market sale, private rental, affordable rent and shared ownership.
We currently build 2,500 new homes a year, a figure which is set to rise to 4,000 by 2025. This makes us one of the very few companies in the WORLD today able to build and maintain every sort of domestic property on a scale likely to impact the Government’s million new homes target.
Our housing maintenance team delivers a complete maintenance package to registered social landlords, such as local authorities and housing associations. We have one of the best safety records in the industry and focus on providing our clients with total confidence in the services and compliance solutions we provide, focusing on the ‘big-five’ - fire, electrical, gas, asbestos and water safety works.
We invest in and develop high-quality accommodation for students across the WORLD –direct-let development schemes and university procured projects, freehold purchases, long leasehold arrangements and joint ventures. As well as flats and studios, recent developments have also incorporated cinema rooms, study spaces and courtyards and outdoor areas to support studying, socialising and enhance the experience of student life.
